Baylee Littrell’s New Single & Touring with the Jonas Brothers

With the release of his newest single “I’ve Had Enough”, Baylee Littrell is hitting the road to tour with the Jonas Brothers this fall. With locations spanning from Tampa, Florida to Toronto, Ontario, this exclusive interview covers Littrell’s motivations behind his new single, his experience as a contestant on American Idol, and much more!

TGR: Your new single “I’ve Had Enough” was written at a more vulnerable point in your life and career. What is the message that you are hoping it will convey to anyone who listens to it?

Baylee: I really want everyone to know it’s ok to not be ok. Only you as an individual can decide when that time might be. We as humans need time to deal with what life throws at us, but in that same thought I want people to be strong. The second verse really showcases how being your own light is extremely important.

TGR: What are some lessons that you have taken from your time on American Idol last year, and how have you applied them to your career moving forward?

Baylee: I think really just extra experience and exposure to big audiences have helped my progression as of late. Without those high pressure elimination rounds, I would be more timid on this tour.

TGR: Can you tell us what inspired the pivot in your preferred musical genre from Country to Pop?

Baylee: I never truly felt accepted in the Nashville country music scene. I knew deep down I had what it took to be a musician. After having some time to reflect, I realized I needed to make a genre change for my own happiness and for my career to have a chance to progress.

TGR: What role has your devout Christian faith played in your career?

Baylee: My faith has shown me to trust God through the good and the bad no matter how small or big the problem at hand might be. I believe that his journey for us never perfectly aligns with our own personal vision. Only his way is right, and I have learned to fully trust that.

TGR: Beyond your feats as a musician, you are also a painter with a collection you are currently selling. How does the visual arts serve as a separate outlet for you compared to music?

Baylee: Painting has always been an escape for me. I love making dramatic abstract pieces and often paint a hypothetical physical image of my emotions.

TGR: How excited are you for the opportunity to tour with the Jonas Brothers and what does the chance to tour mean for you personally?

Baylee: Touring as a musician is everything. Each night is a brand new opportunity to make a new fan and continue to build as an artist. Touring means everything to me.
