Snapple Teases Limited Time Knicks Championship Bottle
The waiting is over! After 53 long years, the New York Knicks have finally won an NBA Championship! For the first time since 1973, the New York Knicks are on top of the NBA. The 2026 NBA Champions are your New York Knicks. And that’s got a nice ring to it (no pun intended). The city was sent into a frenzy Saturday night after the Knicks defeated the Spurs in San Antonio 94-90 to clinch the series victory.
NYC hero and All-NBA guard Jalen Brunson led yet another multi digit comeback in the 4th quarter. Over the course of five games in the finals, Brunson averaged 32.6 PPG, 4.6APG 4.2 RPG and 2.0 SPG. In game 5 Brunson scored a whopping 45 points, almost half of the teams production for the night, and walked away with the Bill Russell Finals MVP. The only other player to score 40+ in a series clinching win? Michael Jordan against the Utah Jazz in 1998. Not bad company for the King of New York.
The Summer of Celebration Begins
But it’s not just Knicks fans celebrating the win. Snapple, like many other corporate brands, have pounced on the opportunity. The team’s first championship in 53 years needs to be celebrated appropriately. So as a result, Snapple have curated a special limited time Knicks Championship bottle. They did so via an instagram post on Sunday June 14th, “KNICKS WIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN!!! ππ𧑠The Knicks delivered us a championship and now weβre delivering 100 limited edition championship bottles! STAY TUNED ππ.” Multiple photos of the limited time Peach tea accompany the teaser message.
In addition to teasing the bottle, they specified the limited availability of these bottles and announced they will not be sold at retail. . Fans speculate some type of scavenger hunt, contest or later announcement that will clear up confusion. But It’s safe to say New Yorkers are excited.
The celebrations will continue on and on this summer, kicking off on Thursday, June 18th with the Knicks Championship Parade. Starting at 10am an open top bus will take the newest NBA Champs across New York city. Mayor Zohran Mamdani will present the team with the Keys to the City in the ceremony.
