Friistyle is Chicago’s rendition on Belgian-style pomme frites. Friistyle’s signature dressing, Boughetto, is a spin on barbecue sauce created by executive chef Chuck G and is a MUST to have on your french fries! Along with the french fries, they also serve chicken, salmon, lamb, lobster, and vegetables.
Batter & Berries
Dr. Tanya and Craig Richardson opened Batter & Berries in 2012 as a sweet and sugary breakfast, lunch, and brunch restaurant. The majority of the menu items are prepared in-house. Every egg is cracked by hand, the sausages use locally sourced chicken and Maple Leaf Farms pork, and our potatoes are shredded daily. The french-toast batter and sauce is made with fresh fruit, leaving a distinct flavor on the tongue. Batter & Berries is a community hub and melting pot that works with a variety of local companies.
Brown Sugar Bakery
Traditional sweet delicacies and handcrafted cakes are the focus of this Southern-style bakery. Brown Sugar Bakery bought the Cupid Candies Factory, founded in 1936, in December 2020 to continue the heritage of hand-crafted chocolates. The owner, Stephanie Hart has selected a collection of exquisite hand-crafted chocolates, great for any occasion, in addition to her award-winning cakes.
