Tia Adeola FW2020 At NYFW
It may be chilly during the Fall/ Winter seasons but Tia Adeola turned up the heat with this collection. With a background in art history and an interest in the Renaissance, this collection is an ode to the powerful colored women who were previously overlooked throughout periods in history, and hopes to empower the women of the future. Tia Adeolas goal is to make bold, wearable art and this collection definitely was that. Lots of skin showing with deep necklines, sheer fabrics with beautiful beaded and pearl accents, bold colors, and of course her signature ruffles. Tia also included prints of some of her favorite Renaissance art pieces on the garments, which is unique but fits appropriately within the theme.
This was an amazing collection and I love how these pieces are not only beautiful and stand out, but inspire confidence and being comfortable in your own skin.
