As stated in Made For A Woman’s press release, “The presentation shared the reality of what happens behind the scenes in the Madagascar atelier, visually communicating Made For A Woman’s dedication to transparency, authenticity, and putting its artisans at the forefront of the brand. The second floor of Starbucks Reserve™ Roastery Milano was transformed to replicate the environment of the atelier, giving attendees a glimpse into the life and work of its artisans and celebrate their incredible savoir-faire with the world…Faly, meaning happiness, pays homage to Made For A Woman’s dedication to uplifting its artisans, clients, and the planet. Similar to the presentation installation, the Faly collection draws inspiration from life in the Madagascar Atelier; full of vibrant shades of fuchsia pink, glittering gold accents, and bold floral designs. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, using locally sourced and sustainable materials, ensuring the preservation of Madagascar’s natural beauty and the brand’s deep commitment to ethical practices.”

The company’s ready-to-wear debut incorporates a large variety of skirts, dresses, and tops full of intricate designs and ornamentations. Everything is handmade, giving the collection a homemade feel. Through the inclusion of raphia material, a staple of the Made For A Woman brand, the collection feels incredibly cohesive. The brand believes in creating a space that is conscious of the toll fashion takes on the world, so the incorporation of recycled materials allows the brand to responsibly push boundaries.
