The iconic Glasshouse at 660 12th Avenue in New York City will serve as the stunning backdrop for the highly anticipated JUZUI Fall/Winter 2025 runway show. Creative Director Taoray Wang returns to New York Fashion Week with a collection that beautifully intertwines nature’s resilience with urban sophistication, titled “Winter Blooms Whispering.”
A Celebration of Strength and Grace
This season, JUZUI draws inspiration from the Winter Plum Blossom inspiring the name winter blooms whisper, a revered symbol in Chinese culture that represents perseverance, resilience, and quiet strength. The collection is a tribute to women who, like the plum blossom, thrive in adversity, radiating beauty and grace even in the harshest conditions. Taoray Wang’s designs continue to reflect her signature floral-inspired vision, blending intricate floral motifs with urban walkability and casual elegance. The result is a harmonious balance between high fashion and everyday wearability, ensuring that each piece is as functional as it is breathtaking.
Sustainability at the Forefront
In line with JUZUI’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, the Fall/Winter 2025 collection is crafted exclusively from remaining fabric stocks, showcasing Wang’s dedication to reducing waste and promoting eco-conscious practices. Fur and leather fragments are thoughtfully woven into the designs, further emphasizing the brand’s innovative approach to reimagining materials and creating timeless pieces.

Zoey: What was your inspiration for this collection?
Taoray Wang: The name of the collection is Winter Blooms Whispering. I’m always working with colors, patterns, and textures. This season, I drew inspiration from my winter garden. Since I live in England, that’s where I found my muse for this collection—my winter garden.
Zoey: What inspires your blend of traditional and modern design?
Taoray Wang: My real life and everyday experiences. I’ve traveled around the world. My home is in the UK, but I work in Shanghai. The variety of different things I see during my travels gives me ideas for blending modern and traditional elements.
Zoey: What upcoming trends do you see in fashion that we can see in your collections?
Taoray Wang: In this collection, there’s a unique blend of traditional styles mixed with a playful, sporty edge. It adds a fresh and unexpected flair, perfectly capturing the collection’s inspiration. You have to bring traditional elements into modern fashion.
Zoey: What was the most difficult or exciting thing about creating this collection?
Taoray Wang: The most difficult thing about this collection was observing my muse—my winter garden. Due to the changing seasons, watching my garden go through so many transformations and expressing that in this collection was not an easy feat.
