Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Winner 2016

Just last week Monday, Vogue and the CFDA had their annual Fashion Fund Award Dinner. On November 7, a winner was announced. Winners receive 400,000 and business mentorship from top industry officials. The CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund it is a highly respected fund. For up and coming designers, who have been in business for two years. The money would be a big help. Out of hundreds of applicants, Anna Wintour and her team narrowed it down to ten finalists.
Adam Selman and Krewe were named as the two runner ups.Brock Collection was named the winner. The Brick Collection was founded by husband and wife duo Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock. The two designers meet while studying at Parsons the New School of Design.
The Brock Collection was pretty much a clear winner because of how well they were selling in Barneys and Moda Operandi. In the past certain designers were not picked simply because they had no business, it is hard to invest in a company that is not selling.
