The World of Khan Debuts Spring 2022 Ready-To Wear Collection

The Indian designer, Naeem Khan shifts the culture of textile design with his transformative awakening between the 1950s allure of beauty into the new to make women feel alive again in his Spring 2022 collection. Khan touched Sony Hall to bridge a gap between interaction not only with the garments themselves but also the designer and viewer.

The Spring 2022 Ready-To-Wear Collection is pure cultivation of commemoration and embrace of inclusion as women from all over the world are represented in glamor.

Khan is creating a whole new regime through diversified color palettes, floral, and assorted prints in each of the 45 looks to showcase the appreciation of textile aesthetics all across the world.

Legacy Behind The House of Khan

The New York City-based fashion designer Naeem Khan was born and raised in Mumbai, the home of history, design, art, architecture, and much more. As a kid, almost all of the textile knowledge he acquired came from his grandfather and father, who designed for Indian royal families at the time.

During Khan’s teenage years, he came to the U.S. to begin his journey as a designer. At the age of 20, worked for the American designer Halston. Alongside Halston, Khan learned hands-on skills of draping and cutting to produce an elegant, classy look out of fabric.

With a philosophy of design, from the background of his family business to his versatile style, the launch of Naeem Khan’s band formed.

Back in 2003, Khan started selling his garments at some of your favorite stores Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

His prestigious work and skills have allowed him to produce high-quality garments for Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Rachel McAdams, First Lady Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and many more.

Khan’s expertise allowed him to be inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2008. Followed by this respected award, Khan launched in 2013 the Naeem Khan Bridal Collection.

Today, Khan’s Ready-To-Wear Collection and Bridal Collection are selling out all across the globe!

The Aviance Behind Spring 2022 Collection

Inspired by an Art Deco aura, Khan’s devotion for constructing fabric and other textiles in a high-quality sense, he starts conversations that embrace eco-friendly yet organic forms of fashion. Amid the chaos, Khan hopes that with this collection he triggers moments of solidarity and positivity that will attract us together to create a better tomorrow.

With this in mind, Khan captures an embodiment of nightlife and pays homage to cultures all over the world in a way that is classy and sexy through glass beads to refer to the 1950s and embroidery styles that serve as a reflection of his Indian heritage.

His use of luminous blacks, earth-like tones to ocean blues, and saturated yellows prove how he is ready to bring to light themes of resilience and liveliness.
