The WNBA Joins Forces With Coach
The past decade has been monumental for the WNBA. With athletes like Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson and recent National Champion Paige Bueckers, the WNBA has been able to cement itself as a powerful enterprise, further reminding everyone that women’s sports deserve equality. The women of these teams continue to advocate not just for equality but also empowerment, reminding young girls and women everywhere that they can be anyone and do anything they set their minds to. Young aspiring athletes worldwide look to the women of the WNBA and see themselves, feeling hopeful for their future in the sport and in society. The power of the WNBA is undeniable.
To celebrate this ever-growing empowerment, the association has joined forces with fashion empire Coach to continue to help combine the beauty of strength and athleticism with the powerful journey of self-exploration seen in fashion and design. The collaboration hopes to inspire and remind people that the most powerful thing they can be is their true self. These two powerful forces in their respective fields of fashion and athletics hope to use their collaboration to amplify the power of individuality and the beauty of self-expression.
The brand has chosen to highlight five specific athletes within the campaign. These athletes include Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith, Aneesah Morrow, KiKi Iriafen and Sonia Citron. In choosing such a powerful team of representatives, Coach hopes to continue to amplify these women’s voices and give them the space to express themselves, embracing their own personal style.
Coach has also begun a partnership with WNBA Pride, to celebrate and honor the LGBTQ+ community. In joining forces, Coach will be a presenting partner of the third season of Pride is Love, a series that is shown on the WNBA app, further promoting love and diversity.
With such a strong foundational message of inspiration and empowerment, the collaboration is destined to make strides and continue to amplify the ever growing power of the WNBA. In allowing these women to be their true selves, embracing their strengths and celebrating their differences, this collaboration is definitely one to observe.
