Spring 2022 Emerging Trends

Spring 2022 Emerging Trends

Although spring is still a few months away, trends are already starting to pop up. With the warm weather, New York City has been seeing recently, I wanted to jump on the trends a little early. These are the Spring 2022 trends that will help you get in the mood for spring even if the weather isn’t there yet.

All Green All The Time

We saw the green trend starting in the summer of 2021, the color was absolutely taking over my social media. I couldn’t scroll through Instagram or look at Pinterest without seeing post after post of green outfits and even décor.

Now the bold color is making a reappearance, but this time it’s all in the accessories. This spring bold green shoes, sunglasses, and any other fun accessory you can think of are going to be big.

Y2K Is Back In Full Swing

Remember low-rise jeans, baby tees, and metallics? They were iconic fashion items in the early 2000s. Y2K-inspired clothing is making a comeback this spring. Think fun colors, cute sets, and nostalgic tee-shirts.

Extra Embellishments

Whether they’re lining the garment or the focal point of the look embellishments are a great way to elevate your wardrobe. Pearls, crystals, feathers, beads, all have a place in your spring ensemble.

We’re also starting to see embellishments on shoes coming into the spring. Pearl boots, or feathered heels basically anything you can imagine putting on shoes would work with this trend.

Oversized Everything!

This trend is not new, but it is being revamped this spring. Oversized suites especially are a popular upcoming trend for the season. Bold-colored oversized blazers are also a fun way to include this trend in an outfit.

Over Dressed

Early spring weather tends to be a little cold, so try pairing a chunky cardigan or an oversized fun blazer over a dress. This trend can help you show off your flirty spring dresses while keeping warm with a cute cover-up.

You can really take this trend in any direction. From bold colored blazers to over-the-top patterned sweaters, this trend gives you a lot of room to experiment.
