Naeem Khan S/S 2025 Collection

Naeem Khan presented his Spring/Summer 2025 collection with a runway show at The Angel Orensanz Foundation. The venue’s soaring arches and intricate stained-glass windows provided a celestial backdrop that perfectly complemented the ethereal nature of Khan’s latest designs.

Spring/Summer 2025 draws inspiration from Sicilian Baroque architecture in Noto to the serene coastlines of Puglia and the vineyards of Mount Etna. The vibrant hues of the season come alive in each piece, reflecting the warmth of pink sunsets, tranquility of sand, the serenity of blue seas, and the freshness of lush greenery.

The sophisticated color palette transitions gracefully from crisp whites and shimmering metallics, to soft pinks and purples, ending in a dramatic black sequence. This season’s silhouettes embrace a more relaxed and oversized fit. Highlights include both men’s and women’s jackets and blazers, intricate Baroque-inspired embroidery, tailored pants with fitted waists and flared hems, and striking designs featuring dramatic shoulders and asymmetrical cuts.

The show concluded with a special tribute to the generation-defining, cinematic event film WICKED – from Universal Pictures, showcasing a captivating finale that demonstrated the powerful symphony between fashion and film. Featuring a vivid mix of green, pink, and black, the designs captured the essence of lead characters – Elphaba and Glinda, translating their personalities and emotions into a dynamic visual narrative. Reflecting the film’s exploration of contrasting paths and destinies, the collection mirrored the strength and determination of one character alongside the transformative journey of another. Each piece echoed the unique styles and moods of the highly anticipated film, bringing the fantastical world of Oz to life through fashion. WICKED flies into theaters November 22, 2024.

More About Naeem Khan

Born and raised in Mumbai, Khan grew up in a world surrounded by culture, architecture, art, history and design. As a boy, he cultivated a vast knowledge of textiles under the watchful eyes of his grandfather and father, both of whom designed intricate clothing worn by Indian royal families. Khan ultimately moved to the United States as a teenager to become a designer and launched his career as an apprentice for legendary American designer Halston at the age of 20. During his time with Halston, he immersed himself in the ethos of modern restraint and learned the craft of draping and cutting fabric to create a clean, elegant and timeless silhouette. Khan eventually merged this design philosophy with the knowledge he gained from his family’s business to nurture his own unique style, and the Naeem Khan design aesthetic was born.

Khan launched his eponymous collection in 2003 and began selling at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Since then his collections have adorned glamorous women around the world, including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Rachel McAdams, First Lady Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, among others. In 2008, he was inducted as a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America and most recently launched the Naeem Khan Bridal collection in 2013. Today the Naeem Khan Ready-to-Wear and Bridal collections are sold at more than 150 retail outlets across the world.
