Moon Boot x Adidas
The label Moon Boot recently collaborated with Adidas. In addition, this is the first time Moon Boot collaborated with a brand to create clothing. The brand usually creates mules, sneakers, and boots. Similarly, this collection shows that the company can create more than just pristine footwear.
Adidas started in the late 1940’s. Moon Boot started in the late 1960’s. Though there are roughly 20 years between the two labels, both of them combined their knowledge and expertise for this collection. Ultimately, the collaboration produced 21 items including sneakers, bags, mittens, and more.
The Collection
The apparel mixed athletic wear and minimalism. In addition, most of the pieces followed the same color scheme. Red and blue created a pop of color in a few of the hoodies, leggings, and crop tops. For instance, the Adidas x Moon Boot Padded Blue Shopper Bag is both versatile and fresh. The puffed design and bright color mimic the brand’s famous boots. Also, the Adidas x Moon Boot Blue Varsity Jacket is a stand-out piece in the collection. The back of the jacket is branded with a snow creature and the two brands’ titles. In addition, the red lettering perfectly contrasts with the blue and white base of the jacket.
The Campaign
The social media team of the footwear brand created a number of videos. Specifically, the clips showed models moving in the athletic apparel. In keeping with the themes of the collection, the clips took place inside minimalist spaces. Also, the social media campaign worked with the ideas of winter and snow. In a few of the videos, snow covered the models, showing how practical the boots and winter apparel are.
For winter collaborations, this collection stands out. Specifically, the footwear brand created apparel for the first time. These items show that Moon Boot is capable of creating a wide-range of products. In addition, this is a special collaboration for Adidas. This winter collection shows what power the two brands have, and how they can produce excellent athletic wear.
