DAVii introduces, “ATLANTIDEA”, a Fall/Winter 2024-25 collection, with new silhouettes that journey through time and space.
According to a press release, this new collection is inspired by the enigmatic figure of the Atlantis woman, as the aesthetic mixes elements of the past with an innovative vision of the future.
The designs have an edgy flare with geometric shapes and a futuristic feel. Many of the new pieces follow a neutral color palette, as the creativity of the designs speaks for themselves.
According to a press release, each silhouette portrays the idea of ceremonial armor for a new woman, with a unique symbolism embedded in each material. For example, the brand uses neoprene to embody structure and modernity, silk is fluidity and sophistication, faux leather represents sustainability, and wool symbolizes comfort and warmth.
This collection dives into the power of femininity by balancing both modern and classic aesthetics. According to a press release, the dresses combine lightness and structure to create a universe in which feminine strength is present in the structured patterns, precise cuts, and the novelty of an almost mirror-like vinyl.
Stylist Claudia Carretti worked with the models to represent DAVii beautifully and Mark Pillai captured the essence of “ATLANTIDEA” with expertise.
