The highly recognized fashion brands, Juicy Couture and Forever 21 have teamed up to release a Y2K fashion-inspired collection. Y2K fashion has been a buzzing topic in the fashion world lately. Originally, Y2K fashion was well known in the late ’90s to early-to-mid 2000s.
Trends popular in Y2K fashion included baby tees, low-rise jeans, and pleated skirts, to name a few. Which is the whole inspiration for the anticipated Juicy Couture and Forever 21 collection. This collection will create a homage to the revival of Y2K fashion.
This will actually be Forever 21’s second time collaborating with Juicy Couture. They have previously released another collection back in March. Which turned out to be a success for both companies. In this new collection, there will be bucket hats, bike shorts, crop tops, sweatpants, and of course, the iconic Juicy Couture’s velour tracksuits.
Shoppers also have the advantage of buying several of these looks in many different colors. Some of the key colors in this collection will be beige, brown, blue, pink, green, and tie-dye. Also, the collection’s clothing sizes will include a range of XS to 2X for women. It is announced that the price of the collection will be starting at $17.99.
Throughout the collection, customers will see the words “Juicy Couture Forever Los Angeles” imprinted on some of the clothing pieces. Or if you are buying the iconic velour tracksuits, you will see the words “Juicy Forever” embroidered on the back with shiny gemstones.
Juicy Couture was one of the most praised fashion companies back when Y2K fashion was introduced. It was mostly iconic for its velour tracksuits which will be included in this collection. Many celebrities such as Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, and many other women were seen rocking these tracksuits.
For any fans of Y2K fashion, this Juicy Couture and Forever 21 collection will be first released on August 3 exclusively on the Forever 21 website. Then, expect to see the collection available for in-person purchase in stores on August 12.
