Gucci’s New Collection: Aria

Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci, dramatically released Gucci’s new collection Aria. The runway featured a soundtrack of Gucci-themed tracks from Lil Pump and Die Antwoord. Teaming up with Balenciaga’s Demna Gvasalia for a capsule’s worth of instantly covetable pieces featured with both houses’ logos, and showcased several of Hollywood’s biggest names in the iconic double-G.

Jared Leto, Lou Doillon, and Chinese pop diva Kris Wu were present in the virtual front row. This year both Miley Cyrus and Serena Williams were in attendance. Cyrus posted on social media the night before a short film of herself wearing the new collections of coveted pieces.

Madonna also got in on the action posting to her social media accounts of the new collection. While she skipped out on the actual show she is still in full support of the brand in her logo-heavy Gucci looks.

Williams, one of the faces of a Gucci campaign shared her love for the brand as well. Before the show, she shared her love of games by completing the paperback puzzle book that was the collection’s invite.  Sporting an ombré pink and blue jumpsuit full of Gucci logos.
