NEW YORK, NY — Designer Frederick Anderson transported guests to the sun-soaked shores of Mexico as he unveiled his Resort 2027 collection on June 2 at his new retail location inside Printemps New York.

The 24-look presentation drew inspiration from Careyes, the ultra-luxury resort village located on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Known for its vibrant colors, stunning architecture, and effortless glamour, Careyes served as the perfect backdrop for Anderson’s latest vision of modern resort dressing.

“My resort collection is an uplifting one, perfect for a trip away or to wear during the holidays in New York,” Anderson shared. “Textures and shape, as always, take center stage as I am inspired by a modern take on shapes from Slim Aarons’ iconic photographs of Acapulco and the Mayan Riviera.”

The collection embraced bold color, intricate craftsmanship, and rich textures. A standout feature was the season’s signature cactus flower print, showcased on luxurious silk fabrics crafted using the Italian hand-painted tradition. Multiple prints were layered atop one another to create a striking woven, three-dimensional effect.

A warm Mexican terra-cotta palette appeared throughout Anderson’s signature tweeds, creating the illusion of raffia textures while maintaining a refined elegance.

The collection also featured dramatic chartreuse gowns, vibrant red eveningwear, and sophisticated separates designed for both resort escapes and city celebrations.

Closing the show was a couture masterpiece featuring long vinyl sequins sewn on the bias, creating a wing-like movement that wrapped around the body with every step.

The presentation also marked Anderson’s return to wholesale through his partnership with Printemps New York, where the Frederick Anderson collection is now available in the retailer’s second-floor Boudoir. Clients can also shop the collection through private appointments.

With Resort 2027, Anderson continues to blend luxury, artistry, and effortless sophistication, offering a collection that captures the spirit of escape while remaining firmly rooted in modern glamour.
