The designer’s latest collection begins with the intense colors found in nature, but rather than interpreting florals through a traditionally romantic lens, Azénabor filters them through a more technological perspective. The result explores the contrast between the organic imperfections of the natural world and the exactness associated with technology.
“For Spring 2027, I’m obsessed with the vivid, brilliant colors found in exotic flowers, but I wanted to experience them through a futuristic, almost techno filter,” Azénabor explains. That tension sits at the heart of Electric Garden. Nature can be unpredictable, asymmetrical and imperfect, while technology is often associated with control, precision and repetition. Bringing those seemingly opposing ideas together offers a fresh framework for the designer’s approach to occasion dressing.
Known for creating statement-making eveningwear, Azénabor uses Spring 2027 to imagine glamour through a more futuristic lens. The collection’s botanical inspiration provides the emotion and vibrancy, while its technological influence pushes the concept toward something sharper and more modern.
“There’s this incredible tension between the beauty and imperfection of nature and the precision of technology that feels very exciting to me right now,” the designer adds.
