Concept Korea FW22 Steals The Runway

Brands from all over had a chance to cast their light on the world with their FW22 Collections during Fashion Week. On Tuesday, February 15th the top Korean brands Nohant, EENK, and ULKIN presented their iconic collections in the category, “Concept Korea”. Concept korea is a a digital show of fashion and dance intertwined.

As each brand showcases its work, they present a narrative to illustrate a balance of arts to grab the viewer’s attention.

While all three brands are under the same category they all have their unique touch to display a different aura. Don’t miss out on what each of these remarkable brands has to offer the rest of the world!

Innovation Meets Simplicity With Nohant

Noah Nam is the great designer behind the unisex based brand Nohant in Seoul, South Korea. The designer has a wide range of experience with developing unisex essential garments for men and women.

The concept behind the brand focuses on creating a language of modernity, simplicity, quality, and embracing elegance throughout everyday life. The ready-to-wear house brand offers tranquility, innovation, and unity with its mission focusing on individuals coming together.

Their digital presence is a clear representation of what they stand for as models collectively rejoice together through countless dances in a circular motion to convey a narrative through style.

What appears to look formal in the beginning shifts to baggy streetwear that reflects the versatility and a luxurious style that people can feel confident in.

“Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury,” said Noah Nam.

EENK Is Unique For Its Unconventionality

While Nohant embraces essential wear and luxury through comfort, Hyemee Lee takes a much more unconventional turn in her work with EENK. Throughout much of her career, Hyemee has worked her fair share with men, women, children, textiles, and even accessories.

She has always been a risk-taker and open-minded when approaching her design work with EENK. With her daredevil approach in fashion, she aspires to leave an unexpected mark that will transpire longevity with the EENK ‘Letter Project’ through Concept Korea.

EENK takes inspiration from the different letters in the alphabet. The goal of this unique project is to highlight how the letters from A to Z represent keywords. The purpose of this is to bring to light the cycle of life and how each letter in a way demonstrates a personal archive that we should cherish.

The looks in the digital show transpire grace and sophistication as the models interact in the space. The vintage wears brand is here to state and continue to inspire others to tap into their inner selves!

UL: KIN Shifts Culture To Collective Pieces

The third brand in the category was UL: KIN. The ultimate mission behind this brand is the idea of acknowledging the value of the people, social impact, and upcycling.

Given their mission, much of their design process is very strategic. From painting and artwork to the use of up-cycling materials, then comes into the conversation the value of the customers. They rather want to make sure each piece that is made, the buyer can cherish forever.

Nothing is better than a collective like Concept Korea, that you can have for years after and still value it as when you first bought it.
