On Friday and the company’s 75th anniversary, Coach opened the doors to its newest and largest global flagship store. The new Fifth Avenue location, offered an “Open House” to welcome guest to what is fittingly called Coach House. The flagship offers a lot of exciting features that aim to blend the brand’s heritage in high-quality, crafted leather goods with Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers’ vision for the edgy, trendy Coach consumer.
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a 12-foot dinosaur named Rexy, made of Coach leather goods. A conveyer belt featuring clothing items is also helps to bring newness to the space. On the first floor, guests can customize things like leather tags with initials and emojis.
The brand, which was previously known for monogram repeated prints is really showcasing its newer, hipper, trendier side and I can really get behind it. Not only can you shop leather goods and accessories like wallets and bags, but the store has amazing coats, shoes, and sunnies. If anything the store is an experience in itself, and definitely worth a visit if you are in the NYC area.
