Bulgari has released the first docufilm ever, “Inside the Dream”. The film encourages the audience to discover the secrets of the High Jewelry Maison. As an official jewelry partner of the Toronto International Film Festival, Bulgari’s docufilm premiered at the film festival. For now, the film is available worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. The film was directed by Matthieu Menu and produced by Terminal9 Studios.
Many women featured in the documentary that covers the interviews with Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Chiara Ferragni, Lily Aldridge, and LISA of BLACKPINK. The five multitalented women are united by the same passion for beauty and share their passion towards the jewelry.
Inspiring universal fascination, the docufilm walks you through the world of wonders with Bulgari Jewelry Creative Director Lucia Silvestri. Following her footsteps, she describes the magical moments and secrets of the jewelry creation from a glorious gemstone to a precious masterpiece. Throughout her passionate story, the audience can get a glimpse of the amazing artisanal craftsmanship of high jewelry masterpiece as well as her creative intuition.
Besides, the film portrays selecting precious gems in Jaipur, India, and the conception of unique pieces at Bulgari’s headquarters in Rome, to the masterful expertise of artisans in the Maison’s workshop in Italy. The compelling journey in the quest for magic and wonder unveils the unique talents and skills of the brand.
Meanwhile, the film recounts a story of one of the most magnificent high Jewelry masterpieces, Serpenti Hypnotic Emerald necklace with Zendaya, the Bulgari muse. This necklace features a 93.83-carat Colombian cabochon-cut emerald, presenting a sinuous body. It was known to take 1,000 hours to cut only the gem, another 2,200 hours for its final setting, and sold for $3.5 million. Zendaya was the first star to wear the necklace on the red carpet for Dune last year. The film reveals her story behind the red carpet at the 78th Venice International Film Festival.
