Snoop Dogg Hosts First “Dr. Bombay Day ” Event
Legendary rapper and cultural icon Snoop Dogg held the first Dr. Bombay Day event for his ice cream brand, Dr. Bombay Ice Cream, “Ice Cream Creams” on Friday, April 12th in Inglewood, CA. Known for his artistry and innovation, Snoop Dogg is yielding his entrepreneurial spirit into a new sweet endeavor headfirst. The business venture marks the rapper’s first foray into the world of frozen treats and yet another expansion of his portfolio.
The star-studded event kicked off at Snoop’s compound, which brought together a fusion of hip-hop culture and gourmet desserts. Event space was decked out with a mountain of munchies, candy, and the newest Dr. Bombay Ice Cream flavors. Notable guests included Cordell Broadus (Snoop’s son), rapper Lil Baby, musicians Gavin Rossdale, Hemlock Springs, and Tommy Richman, model Slick Woods, actor Jaleel White, and Death Row Records friends and family who showed up in support of Dr. Bombay Ice Cream.
With a tantalizing plethora of flavors inspired by Snoop Dogg’s personal favorites, the event proved to be a unique experience for its attendees. Boozy floats, cannabis pairings by Death Row Cannabis, Skechers collab sneakers and more were provided as well. The rapper greeted guests while enjoying his newest ice cream flavor “Strawberry Cream Dream” presented by Death Row Records, which will hit shelves next month.
The event generally speaking is indicative of something much greater than simply the ice cream, but it served as yet another platform for Snoop Dogg to showcase his unparalleled artistic talent beyond music. Artwork exclusively curated by Snoop himself adorned the venue and showcased his distinctive style and vision. Guests had the opportunity to experience firsthand the innovation which made him a global phenomenon.
Dr. Bombay Ice Cream launched back in July 2023, and is currently sold in retailers throughout all 50 states. Known for its artisanal approach and unconventional flavor offerings, Snoop Dogg is undoubtedly to best fit behind this brand as both pledge a commitment to quality and a willingness to push the envelope. Flavors include Iced Out Orange Cream, Tropical Sherbet Swizzle, Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, S’more Vibes, Rollin in the Dough, and Bonus Track Brownie.
