CÎROC Launches #CirocStands Initiative

CÎROC and Sean “Diddy” Combs release the latest version of #CIROCStands for Black Excellence Month. Ciroc teamed up with the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) on Super Bowl weekend. They recognize influential Black and Brown women in sports journalism.

Elaine Welteroth, Cari Champion, MJ Acosta-Ruiz, Kelsey Nelson

CÎROC  held an intimate panel discussion for special guests and media to explore their inspiring stories and spirit as they celebrate their successes and journeys at NFL House. Such as New York Times bestselling author, Elaine Welteroth, along with journalists MJ Acosta-Ruiz, Cari Champion, and Kelsey Nicole Nelson.

“Black women have a special gift of storytelling that has added value and a unique perspective to the way sports stories are now told. Our panelists and moderators for #CIRCOStands, such as MJ Acosta-Ruiz, Cari Champion, and Kelsey Nicole Nelson, are proof of that success. We are especially proud to celebrate Black journalists during a Super Bowl that will be a history-making moment with two Black quarterbacks leading their teams.”

says NABJ President Dorothy Tucker.

CÎROC  continues its commitment to celebrating Black excellence throughout the year through its community-focused platform #CIROCStands. The brand is amplifying the accomplishments, stories, and voices of Black businesses in cities like Chicago and New York. To highlight those who define culture and shape the future of each community.

CÎROC Uplifts Chicago & New York

The Windy City is known for its entrepreneurial spirit and hometown pride. It will be here to liven up the success stories of four trailblazing Black Chicagoans. Also teaming up with former Chicago basketball player Joakim Noah, and media personality Angela Yee. Once again highlighting the bold and ambitious spirit of these local voices. For instance, sharing their unique stories in their own words.

Angela Yee will also kick off the series in New York City, where she will host and tour three women-owned businesses in Harlem and Brooklyn. Emmy-nominated cinematographer/videographer Steven John Irby will join her. Angela will interview the business owners to explore their stories and the spirit of entrepreneurship.
