Don Julio Tequila Releases Campaign ‘Por Amor’
Don Julio Tequila releases “Por Amor: A Love Letter to Mexico” on You Tube. In addition, the video is a global campaign which aims to honor the people and culture of Mexico. Also included are a few Mexican artists who share their own stylish visions of Mexico.
“A poem written to and from our homeland”
Don Julio González had a dream to start his own tequila production. He did so through love and dedication. For example, González harvested, cut, and carved each agave plant to make and perfect his tequila product special for Mexico. Thus, through the new You Tube video, the brand strives to share just that. And also, that anything is made with and for love. Or in Spanish, por amor!

From the very beginning, this short film supports the mantra, “Por Amor,” with the expression, “IF NOT FOR LOVE, THEN FOR WHAT?” Then from the middle to the end, one can’t help but gaze at the beautiful imagery of cowboys, fiesta dancing, Mariachi men, stylish women, food sellers, and of course, Don Julio tequila drinks! Thus, this short film is certainly a love letter to Mexican culture and the people who live it with love.
