Fredrick Anderson F/W 2021 Collection

Fredrick Anderson debuted his Fall/Winter collection on Tuesday evening with a virtual fashion show at New York Fashion Week.

The fashion collection called “Rebirth” is inspired by Anderson’s love of New York City. “I dreamed of living in NYC from the time I was 15 spending summers in NYC to study dance at Joffrey Ballet. It’s not just a dream, it’s a way of life,” says Fredrick Anderson.

The collection featured various types of fabrics on different styles of clothing. Anderson uses a lot of the same material and prints for different looks. This really helps make the collection cohesive and creates a story.

“I love women and design clothing to enhance and empower individuality. I believe fashion is your conversation with the world… If so then speak with an individual and authentic voice,” says Fredrick Anderson.

Featured above is a hand crochet maxi cardigan over a crochet dress. The cardigan is made out of alpaca/mohair and the dress is made of alpaca wool.  Multiple other looks in the collection feature the same hand crochet looks with alpaca wool. Another fabric that was used throughout was denim.

“The Frederick Anderson woman lives in the world and not in her home. She loves life and lives her life to the fullest. She writes her own rules in dressing and in life.”
