Drunk Elephant Skin, Body, and Hair Care
The Drunk Elephant skin, body, and hair care brand is taking beauty care to a completely new level. Basically, their philosophy is to only use ingredients that are biocompatible and with small molecular structures. Each product ingredient is thoroughly researched and scientifically proven to benefit the health of individuals’ skin and hair. The brand has a “Suspicious 6” philosophy and they don’t use products that could irritate or be problematic for skin. These “Suspicious 6” ingredients include essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical sunscreens, fragrances/dyes, and SLS.
Skin Care
Their skin care products are compared to smoothies; your body needs a different combination of vitamins and minerals dependent on the time of day. That is why they have different products and product combinations for the best morning and night routines. My favourite morning routine combination is their C-Firma Fresh Day Serum, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum, and Protini Polypeptide Cream. Most importantly, this combination is great if you are someone with dry and sensitive skin. If you are someone with oily skin, I recommend replacing the Intensive Hydration Serum with the Protini Powerpeptide Resurf Serum.
A great nighttime routine to cool your skin and take away irritation from the day is the combination of T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum, and Lala Retro Whipped Cream. These products are also great for dry skin. If you are someone with my oily skin.
Body Care
Drunk Elephant also has several body care products for different skin types. They have lots of body lotions with varying moisture levels so you can find which one works best for you! Even further, they make different body cleansers, a body scrub, and deodorant cream. The deodorant cream is especially unique as it does not use essential oils, baking soda, or aluminum-based products.
Hair Care
For hair care, they have both a glossing and moisturizing shampoo, as well as a couple different cream conditioners. Most interestingly, is their Conditioning Co-Cleanser products that cleans your hair without stripping it of its natural oils. This product lessens the need to follow-up with conditioner; the product alone moisturises and cleans hair sufficiently.
