Lights, camera, action! The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have wrapped up, and the winners are in! A night of glitz, glam, and plenty of star power.

The casts of “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “Abbott Elementary,” and “The White Lotus” took home some serious hardware. Proving that teamwork truly does make the dream work. Brendan Fraser also had his moment in the spotlight, winning the best lead actor award for his role in “The Whale.”

But it was the individual winners who stole the show! Some include Jason Bateman, Jean Smart, and Sam Elliott. Taking home well-deserved awards for their outstanding performances. Ke Huy Quan also made history as the first Asian actor to win the SAG Award for best-supporting male.

On the television side of things, “Abbott Elementary” won the best comedy series ensemble. While “The White Lotus” took home the award for the best TV drama series ensemble. Jennifer Coolidge and Jason Bateman won best actress and actor in a drama series for “The White Lotus” and “Ozark.” Jean Smart and Jeremy Allen White won best actress and actor in a comedy series for “Hacks” and “The Bear.”

Over 122,600 SAG-AFTRA members voted to choose the winners. Antonia Gentry and Haley Lu Richarson served as ambassadors for the event. With so many talented actors in the mix, not everyone could take home a trophy. Austin Butler, Angela Bassett, and Jenna Ortega may have felt snubbed, but they should still be proud of their amazing performances.

The Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles was the place to be for this glitzy event, with the live stream available on Netflix’s YouTube channel.

All in all, it was a night to remember. The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards celebrated some of the best performances in film and television.
