Young M.A Goes ‘360’ On Freestyle & More

Multi-Platinum rap star Young M.A continues the road to Kween, her highly-anticipated debut album, sharing the album’s tracklist in advance of next week’s release. The new album finds M.A fully recharged after a period of personal growth and discovery, ready to dominate another summer with 15 barred-out bangers. The title combines the words “king” and “queen,” as used by M.A in a popular 2017 freestyle and for her charitable KWEENZ Foundation. Featuring guest spots from G HerboTory Lanez, and Kavi Synatra, and home to the boisterous recent single “Lasagna,”  Kween releases on May 29th via M.A Music / 3D, and is currently available to pre-save.

Along with the tracklist, M.A shares “360,” a fiery new freestyle. Produced by Mike Zombie, “360” flips The Alchemist’s classic instrumental for Jadakiss’s “We Gon Make It,” providing a regal atmosphere for M.A to talk her smack for three minutes of straight bars: “It feels good to be sittin’ back in my seat again/Turnt the lights on because the room I had to read again/Now everybody leave the f*ckin room, I’m bout to tweak again,” she spits. “360” arrives with an engaging, Brooklyn-set music video directed by Sam Finley, providing a visual to affirm M.A’s royal aspirations: “I’m a still a mystery like Grandma with her ingredients/It’s M.A and I’m still the king and the queen of this.” The new freestyle follows her ferocious  “FDO” freestyle, on which she annihilated the beat from Pooh Shiesty’s recent Billboard hit, which set the narrative for the upcoming album and racked up over 1.3 million views to date.

Next week, Young M.A kicks off a Northeast run of shows, highlighted by a hometown show in Brooklyn on May 28th, just before Kween releases on all platforms, the 5-date run also passes through Philadelphia, Hartford, Albany, and Asbury Park, NJ. Tickets are available at https://youngmamusic.com/.

The tracklist reveal of Kween continues a ferocious run from the star rapper, marked by viral freestyles and speaker-knocking singles. After taking a hiatus to conquer her personal demons, M.A emerged with a vengeance in 2025, showing her singular talent on “Went Legit,” a freestyle over the hit G Herbo anthem. Performed during Kai Cenat x On The Radar’s Mafiathon, M.A’s “Went Legit” quickly went viral, racking up over 6.8 million views on YouTube and re-establishing her as one of rap’s bar-for-bar best. Since then, M.A has kept the streets hot with singles like “Aura” and “Thumperz” in late 2025, and made a splash with “Lasagna,” her most recent single, which has nearly 2 million views since dropping in February. She was also part of Druski’s Coulda Fest tour at the end of 2025.
For more than ten years, Young M.A has been one of hip-hop’s most beloved artists, taking over the streets with her quotable missives. Her smash hit “OOOUUU” is one of the defining rap hits of the past decade, going 4x Platinum, racking up over 471 million YouTube views, peaking at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100, and inspiring remixes from every artist under the sun. Even nine years after release, the song can still shut down a function in any city across the country. “OOOUUU” is only a small part of M.A’s story–her catalog has generated more than 3 billion streams, her singles “Big” and “Pettywap” went Platinum and Gold, respectively, and she has released four full-length projects to date (HerstoryHerstory In The MakingRed FluOff The Yak). Beyond music, M.A has expanded into acting, with roles in the Emmy-winning TV series Mr. Robot and the acclaimed film The 40 Year Old Version, and gives back to her community via the Kweenz Foundation, which she founded with her mom.

With Kween on the way, Young M.A has been focusing on her health and state of mind as she prepares to claim her rightful throne. Stay tuned for much more.
