Tre Loaded Releases “Curious George”
Tre Loaded is rising in the South behind his smooth flows and effortless flexes. Hot on the heels A Long Way From NoWay, his new project, produced in full by Platinum-selling production team Bankroll Got It, the East Memphis native drops “Curious George,” a brand new music video. Blessed with mournful trumpets and jazzy keys, “Curious George” kicks off with a tribute to Tre’s late big homie, ABP, before he piles high-flying flexes atop one another in his silky cadence. In the video, Tre and his trumpeter spend a late night on the streets of L.A., posting up outside a mini-mart before retiring to count his racks.
Seamlessly combining simmering Southern sound with the rider music that defines Bankroll Got It’s West Coast, the 8-track A LongWay From NoWay is a showcase for Tre’s quicksilver flexes, as he stacks syllables atop a diverse array of soundscapes. The project kicks off with the glistening “One Thing Or Another,” before making room for singles like the horn-drenched “Break Even,” and the dial tone screed “Quit Calling.” Bankroll Got It provide the tape with a cinematic sheen, the better to illustrate Tre’s glow-up from local hustler to cash-flush jet-setter. Tre Loaded exploded into the consciousness in 2024, with with viral hits and important co-signs, leading to over 50 million catalog streams in 2024 alone. The new single follows in the footsteps of “Another Whip,” a viral hit that generated over 7 million streams across platforms. In the fall, Tre added a verse from his compadre BigXThaPlug to the remix, after joining X on his fast-selling “Take Care Tour” as the direct support.
