
Snoop Dogg x Get Engaged Media On Entrepreneurship
Get Engaged Media brings A-list friend Snoop Dogg to the USC Marshell School of Business for “The Entrepreneur As A Brand” event. Students from USC Marshell gathered to hear advice from the D O double G himself.
On November 16, Snoop Dogg pulled up to USC Marshell to accept the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The award admires his many business ventures and accomplishments throughout his career. However, this panel had even more talent.
Get Engaged Media and Snoop Dogg Give Advice
In addition to Snoop Dogg, Get Engaged Media’s co-founders Cam Fordham and Ben Hiott and Chief Strategy Officer Jason Zerden came to speak to students about the business world. Further, the business students were able to hear discussions about brand deals, entrepreneurship, and much more. USC Marshell professor Albert Napoli moderated the panel and gave a warm welcome to students and guests. Napoli eagerly introduced a top expert of experience in the field, Snoop Dogg.
To help aspiring entrepreneurs, Snoop Dogg shares his wealth of information that he has aciquired through his widespread career. In both business and entertainment. Throughout the panel Snoop gave his perspective, but, notable pieces of advice he gave included,
“I am probably the dumbest person on my team. I love having people that can bring the best out of me. If I’m around people who are good at what they do, it makes me great. I surround myself with the teammates that play to win. I like to put people in the position to shine – it makes me shine. My brand is the most important thing to me right now because I control it, how it looks, everything. My brand allows me to do whatever I want.”
In addition to all the knowledge shared, at the end of the panel discussion, Snoop held the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Entrepreneur of the Year Award he recieved for all students and attendees to see. Although the panel was over, the USC marching band played Snoop out to his own tunes. In response, he swagged out, dancing on stage and singing along. hyping up everyone around him in true Snoop Dogg fashion.
