Levent Geiger: An Artist to Watch

Levent Geiger: An Artist to Watch

Levent Geiger, 21-year-old singer-songwriter, has been on the rise. He released latest single “Love Me,” a pop song reminiscent of JVKE’s “golden hour,” in November of this year and is currently riding the wave of its success.

“The reception has been incredible. My fans have been so supportive and it‘s been awesome seeing them vibe with the song,” Geiger said. “Seeing their reactions on social media and hearing how they relate to the lyrics also means a lot to me.”

“Love Me” speaks of the desperation that comes with not knowing how someone you like feels about you. Geiger often sings of love and longing, citing Charlie Puth and Bruno Mars as some of his biggest influences.

He is also known for his covers and mashups; his most streamed song on Spotify is his cover of The Weeknd’s “Creepin.” Fans can visit his YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@levent.geiger to find tons of other covers of artists from BTS to XXXTentacion.

One of Geiger’s biggest opportunities to date was his spot on the Backstreet Boys’ “DNA World Tour” last year.

“It was surreal. Performing my own songs in those massive arenas and sharing the stage with legends like the Backstreet Boys was an honor,” Geiger said.

Geiger first started releasing music in 2019 and currently has 14 songs out, but he’s been a musician for most of his life.

“Music has always been a huge part of my life. I started with drums at age 5, piano at 8, saxophone at 12, and guitar at 13,” he said. “Singing was something I did along the way, but it really clicked for me when I started songwriting. The best part of being an artist now is that I get to blend all those influences together.”

He said he’s been in the studio and has songs on deck ready to release. Although a larger project has not been announced, he said an EP or an album is a dream of his.

“I’ve been trying out some new sounds and ideas, but I’ll keep it a surprise for now,” he said. “I‘m excited for people to hear what‘s coming next!”

He said his biggest goal with his music is to “make songs that resonate with people all around the world and to perform in a stadium where everyone’s singing them at the top of their lungs.”

What he’s most excited for right now is his first-ever headline show, which will take place in Munich on Feb. 1 next year. He is hoping to go on his first headline tour in 2025.

Levent Geiger can be streamed on all streaming platforms. Read more music stories from The Garnette Report here: https://thegarnettereport.com/category/art/music/.
