Shah Leezy and Ezekiel Jordan Announce New Single

Rapper Shah Leezy and Producer Ezekiel Jordan have announced that their collaborative new single titled “Awful Falafel” has been released on April 11th. Following the gritty boom bap energy of their lead single “OTRGS SH!T,” both the rapper and the producer return with “Awful Falafel,” which is a smoother, more laid-backl offering from their upcoming collaborative album, LUNACy!

Featuring a standout guest verse from NYC staple UFO Fev, this new track shows a smoother, more laid-back side of Shah Leezy and Ezekiel Jordan. Shah dials back the aggression without losing his edge, floating over a soulful, hypnotic beat from Jordan. The result is a track that’s still sharp but more mellow in tone; a contrast to the raw energy of their last single.

This second single continues to build momentum for LUNACy!. a project that blends soul-drenched samples, clever wordplay, and New York’s underground spirit into a cohesive body of work.

Shah Leezy is originated from New York City and has been making waves in the under ground hip-hop scene with his raw storytelling and dynamic flow. Known for his lyrical prowess and storytelling ability, Shah Leezy has a number of acclaimed releases, his most recent EP, The London Tape, which was release in March of 2024.

Ezekiel Jordan is Bay Area bred, but also is a New York-based producer. He’s built a reputation for his masterful use of samples and innovative beat-making through his release of beat tapes and other collaborations. His ability to blend vintage producer, and his collaboration with Shah Leezy is set to highlight his unique talents.

Jordan and Shah Leezy’s album LUNACy! will be released on May 16th on all platforms.
