Jon Bellion Announces Return Album
Merely weeks after writing about Jon Bellion’s return to the music industry under his own terms and own label, Bellion has officially announced that he will be releasing his first album under Beautiful Mind records, and will be titling the project “FATHER FIGURE.”
This 14-track piece is set to release on June 4th and the versatile artist who can do almost anything has dedicated the album to his wife and three children:
“To my wife, I want to thank you for encouraging me to come back. Thank you for letting me give this my all and holding it down with the boys. Just like HOROSCOPE says… ‘the SECOND you need me in any way I’m right back home…’Even when I convinced myself I was never going to be an artist again, you supported me. The second I even started floating ideas of coming back, the way you lit up showed me how your heart broke silently for me not putting my personal music out over the years. You respectfully watched my fire slowly build again. You really are the reason for all of this. If anyone enjoys this album, they should be thanking you.”
“To my boys, there is not a single thing in this world I wouldn’t do for you. This album is for you and I want you to know that your father went for it. Despite his fears and risking looking silly your dad went for it. Never ever compromise who you are out of fear, and I will spend the rest of my life living that out for you to see what a form of that could look like. I am nothing close to perfect and you don’t need to be either. I will be here for you no matter what and when you’re old enough I hope you feel my desperate and overwhelming love for you through this music…”
“FATHER FIGURE” will have all three singles “KID AGAIN,” “WASH,” and “HOROSCOPE” all be included in the album on top of 11 other songs: OBLIVIOUS, FATHER FIGURE, WHY, VINNY’S ARTICHOKES, ITALIA BREEZE, MODERN TIMES, WASH2, RICH AND BROKE, DON’T SHOOT, and MY BOY. Jon Bellion has also included features from artists like Pharrell Williams, Luke Combs, and Jon Batiste. Many fans have been waiting years for new Jon Bellion music and are very excited for this up and coming project.
