Shab’s “Perfume” Shows Confidence, Femininity & Self Expression
International pop artist SHAB returns with her vibrant new single and official music video, “Perfume,” available June 26 across all digital streaming platforms and YouTube. Written alongside GRAMMY-winning producer Damon Sharpe, acclaimed songwriter Bonnie McKee and hitmaker JHart, “Perfume” marks the first release from a new collection of songs that SHAB created with her team during a series of songwriting sessions earlier this year.
A bold, flirtatious pop anthem infused with subtle Persian influences, “Perfume” showcases SHAB’s most confident and playful sound to date. Her recent single “It’s On You” featuring Preston Harris became her third consecutive U.S. Top 40 chart appearance within the past eight months, following “Lipstick”(which spent weeks in the U.S. Pop Radio Top 40 during late 2025) and “Skin & Bones (VIP)” (which rose over multiple weeks on the Billboard Top 40 Dance chart). Prior to that, SHAB’s 2024 collaboration with hip-hop icon Fat Joe, “Voodoo,” marked her first Top 40 success on both the Rhythmic and Pop charts while becoming one of the most Shazamed songs on Apple Music following its release.
