PinkPantheress & Sam Gellaitry Release New Song ‘Picture in my mind’
Today sees PinkPantheress and Sam Gellaitry release long-awaited ‘Picture in my mind’. Arranged by PinkPantheress and Produced by Sam Gellaitry, the track marries PinkPantheress’s signature vocals with Gellaitry’s electronic influence to make for an addictive summer bop. ‘Picture in my mind’ follows on from the well-received unofficial remix of Drake’s Massive and WILLOW collaboration ‘Where You Are’.
Speaking on the track PinkPantheress says “I went all the way to Stirling Scotland to work with Sam. He is a genius level producer”
Speaking on the track Sam Gellaitry says “after meeting pink p for the first time in london last year we decided to schedule a trip for her to come to scotland and write. i’m so happy with how this one turned out and it was an honour to witness how much of a visionary pink pantheress really is. this track will be my summer anthem for now and many many years to come.”
The first half of 2022 saw PinkPantheress win BBC Muisc’s Sound of 2022, perform on her debut UK, EU and US sold-out tour, including 3 nights at London’s Scala. The rising star also supported Halsey on tour as well as making multiple festival debuts including Lollapalooza Paris & Chicago and Osheaga Festival. Most recently PinkPantheress was featured in British Vogue’s Vogue 25 as the only musician on the list amongst other influential women including Jodie Comer and Victoria Beckham.
2021 saw PinkPantheress take the internet and world by storm and has been on an upwards trajectory since. On October 15th, PinkPantheress released her debut mixtape To hell with it which includes fan-favourites ‘Pain’, ‘Passion’, ‘Break It Off’ and the most recent hit single ‘Just For Me’. Last year PinkPantheress graced the cover of CRACK Collections, ES Magazine, OFFICE and became the second Spotify RADAR Artist to be supported in both UK and US.
