Norf Sole Has A New Visual For Single “Drowning”

Up and coming DMV artist, Norf Sole, has recently made public a new music video to go along with his single, “Drowning” featuring Kai Azana. The Prince George’s County, Maryland native announced this release on his Twitter account by stating, “And there you have it… ‘Drowning’ video out right now!” This song is Norf Sole’s first single for the 2021 year and is a follow up to his latest album, “The World Is The Ghetto.” With this song being his first release and collaboration of the year, we should expect to hear and see much more musical content from Norf Sole.

“Drowning” is an R&B song that has more of a somber mood to it. It uses all three and a half of its minutes to tell of the up and downs of this relationship being displayed. Norf Sole begins the track by melodically explaining his feelings and perspective on the situation and then Kai vocally enters about halfway through. Together, the two perspectives mesh in perfect harmony, despite the inharmonious content of the lyrics.

The music video for “Drowning,” which has acquired more than 3,000 views on YouTube, also features Kai Azana as its leading lady who is beside Norf Sole. The pair comes together to add the visuals to an already tragic story. The video goes back and forth comparing the good times in the on-screen couple’s relationship to their bad times. Eventually there are more bad times than good and those bad times end up drowning any memories of the good ones.

Though many people may not be well versed in Norf Sole’s music, they will be soon. He is an extremely talented artist who makes music with intention behind it. He is surely on the rise and everyone should hop on the wave before the tsunami of his artistry takes over.

To keep up with Norf Sole and all of his past and future releases, you can follow him on YouTube, Spotify or Soundcloud.
