New York Singer/Songwriter ROSIE Is Dropping An EP

ROSIE, a New York-based singer/songwriter keeps it real with her listeners and her fan-base continues to grow because of it. From singing about all things people can relate to and speaking her truth ROSIE is one of the biggest up-and-coming artists out there. ROSIE first released her first single in 2019 titled, “Nostalgic.” Since then, ROSIE has had many accomplishments including signing with Arista Records.

Never the 1 Single

A few days after signing with Arista Records, the singer/songwriter released her first single under the label. The song, titled “Never the 1″ got the attention of many. Originally ROSIE posted a snippet of this song on her TikTok account. Not long after, the snippet received more than 15 million views. “Never the 1” is a song about decaying love. In the song, ROSIE sings,

Now I could write ten songs ’bout nine ways you f–ked me over. Only took you eight days to forget seven months together. We were up till six in the mornin’, Five days a week, you said forever then left, Before I counted to three, loved you A little bit too much, but I was Never the 1.

Following the release of “Never the 1” the singer has put out four singles, and one other in which she features. Her singles released in 2021 are “Retail Therapy,” “100 Headaches,” “To Get Over You,” “Sad Sad Sad,” and the most recent “Social Stamina.” In March 2021, ROSIE featured on John K’s “ilym” single.

An EP Coming Soon

On October 15th, ROSIE announced that she is releasing an EP, “20mg of Happiness” on October 22nd. In the post she explains the background behind this EP saying, “2021 has been the best year of my life, anyways here’s an EP about how much 2020 sucked :).” An EP Release show will take place on November 2nd, at the Mercury Lounge in New York, New York at 6:30 pm.
