J.I Releases New Project “One Way Or Another”

J.I Releases New Project “One Way Or Another”

J.I. released “One Way or Another” a 14-track project at midnight. J.I first released the single “It’s Official Done” in mid-January as a warm-up to this full-length project. In 2022, J.I released the single “Black Roses”. J.I grew bigger with his 2019 breakout single “Need Me”, which has over 100 million streams on Spotify. Some may know J.I from his appearance on Jermaine Dupri’s show “The Rap Game” as a contestant on season one.

J.I. keeps consistent in his honest storytelling about love, life, and the obstacles that accompany fame. His lucid flow challenges 808s beats and piano chords to orchestrate melodic tracks that provoke thought and heartfelt emotion. The project includes features from 2Rare, RealestK, and BEAM. J.I share the influences of Drake, Pnb Rock, and Pop Smoke.

Upcoming Projects

J.I went live before the release, to let supporters know that this project is part one of a larger work in progress. He also explained the projects he drops reflect different chapters of his life. Supporters will be able to see him live as an opening act for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The tour will kick off in Denver for “Me vs. Myself”.

It is hard to say when J.I  will drop a full studio album. J.I still seems to be finding his formula for releasing music. J.I has amassed over 1.2 billion global streams. He has also gained 11K views for the visual for “NYC Ghanistan”. It’s exciting to see what J.I does next, as he has the potential to grow and evolve as an artist. This project showcases his creativity, range with delivery, production, and cohesiveness. Although, J.I began rapping at a young age, he should be considered an up-and-coming artist.
