MARSHMELLO RECRUITS YOUNG MIKO FOR “TEMPO”

Continuing to drop hits with Latin music’s most prominent artists, Grammy-nominated artist and acclaimed producer, Marshmello, released a new single, “Tempo” today.  Unveiling an innovative Latin trap fusion, Marshmello recruited breakout Puerto Rican star, Young Miko, to help bring his vision to life. “Tempo” and its official video are now available to stream on all digital platforms.

Expertly crafted to highlight Young Miko’s razor-sharp lyrical prowess and signature sound, “Tempo” effortlessly blends hard-hitting trap elements and highlights a Jersey Club-inspired chorus – exhibiting Marshmello’s musical range and innate gift to think outside the box. The boundary-pushing provocative track sees the global hitmaker elevate his masterful craft once again to create the perfect anthem for a summer playlist.

Seamlessly encapsulating the track’s blazing essence, “Tempo” sees an assertive Young Miko in her element – cooking up the perfect game plan. The high-energy video follows Miko on the court as she delivers a vigorous performance of the track surrounded by a hype squad to match the force brought forth by Marshmello’s sharp production. The video was produced by StereoSonique.

This new single follows the release of “Como Yo 🙁” featuring the Argentine star, Tiago PZK. Thus far, the track has amassed over 30.9 million combined streams and over 10.2 million views on YouTube. Earlier this year, Marshmello celebrated mega releases “Esta Vida” with Urbano powerhouse Farruko and smash hit “El Merengue” featuring Manuel Turizo – which earned Marshmello’s first ever #1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart. These Latin collaborations mark a new era of Spanish music releases for Marshmello. Earlier this year, the innovative DJ teased an unreleased track during his EDC Mexico performance alongside Peso Pluma and Fuerza Regida. Fans continue to speculate after Marshmello revealed that he’s “Working on myself…and a new album…”. As 2023 unfolds, there is much more to come from the Grammy-nominated artist in the Latin scene.
