Maroon 5 Drops New Single ‘Heroine’
On Thursday, April 30th, the 3-time grammy award winning and multi platinum band Maroon 5 released a new single titled ‘Heroine’. This is off the back of their latest album, Love is Like (The Deluxe Edition), released on August 16th, 2025. This single is not attached to any album and is the first music release of 2026 for the pop-rock turned pop band. The song features vocals from lead singer and pop icon Adam Levine, who describes a lover longing for companionship. This song takes listeners on an emotional rollercoaster that frames a relationship as a savior, just as heroine is to a frequent user, “Oh-oh, need to know, need to know now / Oh-oh, where’d you go, where’d you go, baby? / You could bе my heroine“.
The song shows a side of the band that real, raw and vulnerable. It acts a chaotic journey describing a toxic yet emotionally dependent love story that feels addictive and unstable. Levine sings on an infectious melody and catchy tune aligned with the band’s earlier work. The band continues to regularly release music and attempt to recapture their old sound even after the departure of bassist Mickey Madden in 2020.
Levine himself took to his personal instagram Wednesday night to announce the release this new track, “New song, new song, not a new album just a new song.” He gave fans a taste of the catchy chorus, “Baby, baby / You could save me” and later closed the video by telling band member Jesse Carmichael, “Bro this song is crazy”.
Maroon 5 are set to continue their “Love is Like Tour” which featured a 23-date U.S. leg that started in October of last year. Their upcoming tour for summer 2026 features an fourteen international shows that will bleed into early autumn. Headline slots include June 3rd in London at Hyde Park and September 12th at Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro. The lone American stop will be in Austin, Texas on October 23rd at the Circuit of the Americas. Maroon 5’s performance will kick off the weekend that is headlined by the 14th rendition of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.
