Lil Gnar, Young Nudy, & Chief Keef Give Us “PB&J”

As a multidisciplinary master of expression, Lil Gnar knows the key to achieving greatness can often lie in the company one keeps. Putting that theory into practice, the Atlanta native enlists heavy hitters Chief Keef and Young Nudy for his brand new single “PB&J.” Featuring speaker-shaking production from Al Geno and Chi Chi, Lil Gnar’s nonstop energy drives the track, animating his punctuated flows and grumbling delivery. Gnar’s verse perfectly sets up a furious verse from Sosa that Nudy follows, in his signature subdued style, with an equally intense verse of his own. Inspired by Cadillac Don & J-Money’s “Peanut Butter and Jelly,” Lil Gnar’s take on the Southern rap classic keeps the automotive theme going, trading in classic Chevy’s for some modern muscle: “You ain’t come up out the struggle, you can’t understand me/Widebody Demonhawk, I drive it like a Banshee/Posting racks on Instagram, I’m really having motion/Hit the gas and that Aventador feel like a rollercoaster.”

PB&J” arrives as Lil Gnar gears up for GNAR Lif3 2, his first full-length project under 43B and the followup to his 2018 debut mixtape GNAR Lif3, set to arrive later this summer.

Last June, Chief Keef founded his new label 43B, launched in partnership with RBC Records/BMG, and announced Lil Gnar as the label’s first signee. Short for “Forget Everybody,” 43B offers multi-tiered label and distribution for artists and producers, emphasizing artistic expression and independence and autonomy.  Lil Gnar is the kind of self-sufficient, business-minded artist who represents the label’s ideals. Along with his career as a rapper, Gnar is an accomplished businessman and the founder of his own streetwear brand Gnarcotic. Gnarcotic has been modeled by A-List stars including Future–whose FreeBandz label released a collab with Gnarcotic–Juice WRLD, Young Thug, and many more, and sold his first skateboarding sneaker collection in 2022 to the tune of $500k first weekend sales. He released his 2022 project DIE BOUT IT, featuring guest spots from Trippie Redd, Lil Uzi Vert, and Ski Mask The Slump God, among others, under his own Gnarcotic Records label, before joining up with Chief Keef to start the next chapter of his career.

“What makes him stand out? His style, sh*t,” says Chief Keef
