Kojo Funds Says “Hello It’s Me Again”

Kojo Funds has released his brand new EP HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN, available to stream and download today. The song ‘Long Time’, which kicks off the EP has an old school feel to it mixed with Afrobeats. The beat samples Lil’ Kim’s ‘Crush On You’ from the 90’s which makes this track even more enjoyable.

HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN is a record of thankfulness, reflecting the overcoming of obstacles, and displaying eternal gratitude for the support of loved ones as Kojo now celebrates a decade in the game.

Alongside the EP release he has dropped the video for new single and huge summertime dancehall anthem ‘How Many’. Celebrating good times and staying thankful for small blessings, the video for finds The Godfather Of Afroswing performing poolside, leading the dance to the irresistible bop produced by Grammy-winning Ghanaian producer Killbeatz (Wizkid, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran) before the party enters the mansion. ‘Ready’ is a track that is honestly a party starter as Kojo Funds gives fans a track that people can dance to.

The song has had strong support across Radio 1Xtra, KISS XTRA and Capital XTRA, and follows in the similar success of lead single ‘Ready’ with its addictive bassline and Afroswing tones.

The HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN EP launches Kojo’s return with a smooth R&B bounce in opener ‘Long Time’, about “cherishing the enduring bonds and quiet strengths in your life.” While ‘Problems’ is a bright feelgood slice of Afroswing produced by Killbeatz which, “reminds us that every obstacle carries the seed of its own solution. With unwavering faith, you’ll find your way through any storm.”

‘With You’ is laced with silky R&B guitars and intricate Afrobeat percussion as Kojo’s smooth vocals and slick flow prompts us to, “Dare to pursue your deepest desires with an audacious spirit. ‘With You’ ignites the courage to chase your ambitions boldly, leaving no room for doubt.” The HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN EP closes with the bass heavy Afrobeat club anthem ‘I Need’, which “navigates the delicate balance between desire and necessity.”

Kojo Funds burst onto the scene in 2016 with a string of singles including the street anthem ‘Dun Talkin’ (feat. Abra Cadabra)’, which became a cornerstone of the Afroswing movement. What followed was a whirlwind of further hits including likes of ‘Check (with RAYE)’ and ‘Finders Keepers’ with Mabel, alongside a number of MOBO Award nominations for Funds including Best Newcomer and Best Song. His debut album Golden Boy arrived in 2018 to widespread critical praise landing Kojo enviable titles such as the King, Godfather and Pioneer of Afroswing.

He has continued to release consistent multimillion streamed hits and the demand for Kojo has not wavered. Still holding over a million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, and over 500 million streams on the platform, 2026 now sees Kojo Funds return to his rightful throne and continue to reign supreme over Afroswing and beyond.
