Jodeci Triumphs in Las Vegas Residency Debut
Iconic R&B group Jodeci kicked off their new Las Vegas residency, JODECI – THE SHOW, THE AFTER PARTY, THE VEGAS RESIDENCY, this past weekend during two sold-out shows in the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. A spectacular testament to their legacy, the influential quartet delivered a nostalgic performance to two sold-out audiences on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16.
The legendary group, featuring members K-Ci, DeVante Swing, JoJo, and Mr. Dalvin, serenaded dedicated fans with their timeless hits “Forever My Lady,” “Freek’n You,” “Come & Talk To Me,” “Feenin,” “Cry For You,” and more. Jodeci lived up to the indelible mark they left on the music industry and in R&B – re-establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with for their cultural influence and signature style.
Jodeci released their album Forever My Lady in 1991, an astronomical success debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and spawning three straight Billboard R&B No. 1 singles. The next two albums, Diary Of A Mad Band (1993) and The Show, The After Party, The Hotel (1995), gave the group their second and third #1 albums on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart. Diary Of A Mad Band produced the #1 hit single “Cry For You,” while The Show, The After Party, and The Hotel included titular tracks “Freek’n You” and “Love U 4 Life.”
