Jesse Solomon Says Things Are “Overrated”

Genre-blending singer-songwriter and TV personality Jesse Solomon shares his latest single, “Overrated.” Written by Solomon last year alongside K Nita (Fletcher, Drake), and produced by Adam Friedman (Tai Verdes, Black Eyed Peas) and Ray Goren (Mike Posner, Bebe Rexha), the piano ballad finds him crooning about falling for a friend and all the complicated feelings that come with it.

On April 25th, Solomon will kick off his 16-date Happy To Be Here Tour in Philadelphia. Solomon’s first-ever headlining tour will see stops in DC, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more before a final show in NYC. Throughout a dynamic 70-minute headlining set, Solomon – who Rolling Stone has spotlighted as the “next-generation Michael Bublé” – will take the stage with his signature blend of jazz, soul, and pop, performing standout originals including “Everybody’s Got Someone,” and “What Would Jesse Solomon Do,” plus will perform his newest singles including “Guess I’ll Start,” his March single that has gained viral attention online.

As part of each show, Solomon will invite a fan to duet a verse and a chorus from “Overrated” – find out more here

You likely recognize Jesse Solomon as one of the breakout stars of Bravo’s Summer House, but he was actually trained as a vocal jazz performance artist at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. After getting the opportunity to join Summer House, Solomon – a 2x cancer survivor – had a cancer scare at his 5-year cancer-free checkup that inspired him to dive fully back into music. A lifelong piano player, he’s now redefining modern soul with timeless style and undeniable charisma.
