Jazmin Bean Shares “Terrified”

Jazmin Bean Shares “Terrified”

With over half a billion streams of their critically acclaimed debut EP Worldwide Torture, Jazmin Bean is one of the UK’s worst-kept secrets. Today, the non-binary, London-based artist continues their evolution with the release of their brand-new single “Terrified”, along with the music video. “Terrified” is the third single off of their upcoming debut album entitled Traumatic Livelihood, which is due out in February 2024, and includes Jazmin’s previous singles “Favourite Toy” and “Piggie”, which was produced by John Feldman and Travis Barker. Emotionally laden, the new track pays homage to nineties rock guitars and swooning strings, making “Terrified” a towering ballad that neatly sums up the anxiety of falling deeply in love, but fearing the outcome. “Terrified” is available now via aswang birthday cake/Interscope Records/Island Records.

Jazmin Bean describes “Terrified” as their “first content love song”, stating, “It’s terrifying to write about love as someone who’s grown up with extreme behaviors in relationships that would always send me on an emotional rush. The lyrics explain the anxiety of a relationship having no end point and thinking, ‘Oh my god, this might work out.’ I wanted to capture that feeling that I’m finally safe.”

In addition to the single and video, Jazmin Bean is in the midst of their “The Terrified Tour”, which is hitting a number of cities across the UK, Europe, and for the first time, North America with multiple dates already sold-out. The tour kicked off on September 21st in Berlin and ends on December 15th in Anaheim, with stops in Brussels, Paris, London, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Nashville, Dallas, Los Angeles, and more in between. Tickets for “The Terrified Tour” are on-sale now and can be purchased here. See below for a full list of tour dates.
