HUGEL Returns To Defected Records With New Single

Platinum DJ and Producer HUGEL returns to Defected Records alongside tech house rising star DERON for their new single “Coge El Paso” featuring La Payara. The song is two minutes and 28 seconds of pure dance vibes and good times. It is sure to make almost anyone bop their heads or even do a little dance while listening.

The Latin DJ and producer is a multi-gold and platinum-selling artist with over one billion streams to his name, as well as many of his tracks reaching the number one spot on Beatport. His music is played in top venues and most credible events all over the world.

Before that though, the Latin artist grew up in Marseille by the Mediterranean Sea (South of France). His mother raised him with funk, disco, and soul music being the norm in his life. He discovered the art of DJing with vinyl at 16 years of age, influenced by the style of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Daft punk, Amine Edge, and David Guetta. After a few years of learning production, HUGEL became a hitmaker. His house music is inspired by Ibiza (Spain) and the Latin culture he soaked up while siding on the island. This led to the global asrtist selling out shows in Miami, NYC, and Los Angeles. He had residencies at Pacha & Ushuaia in Ibiza and has played the biggest festivals in the world, such as EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Parookaville, World Club Dome, Mysteryland.

HUGEL returns in 2025 to deliver another fiery club hit that could potentially be played in a lot of major clubs and events around the world. With his resume being so decorated in that category, it almost seems bound to happen. More on Hugel here.
