Genius Live Announces Concert With Tate McRae

Canadian artist Tate McRae is holding an interactive, online concert with Genius Live, this Thursday, July 29 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT).

Presented by Windows and Intel, the live-streamed concert promises fans a unique virtual experience, where they can vote on Tate McRae’s setlist, get a personal shoutout, and be featured on the stream by joining Microsoft’s Watch Party.

After becoming a viral hit in 2017, the 18-year-old singer’s music career blossomed with the release of her debut EP “All the Things I Never Said.” Prompting McRae a spot on the Forbes 30 under 30 list, and a breakthrough with her single “You Broke Me First” that amassed over 107 million views on YouTube.

Tate McRae recently released her second EP “Too Young to Be Sad,” alongside a collaboration with musician Khalid titled “Working.” Her successful roster of alt-pop music sonically emulates both Halsey and Billie Eilish, suggesting a potential new contender for pop’s indie princess.
