88rising’s Yearly Festival Is Back
Globally renowned Asian-American record label, 88rising, announces its third annual Head In The Clouds Festival, slated for November 6 and 7 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
Headed by founder and CEO Sean Miyashiro, the two-day festival boasts an incredible line-up, with 88rising’s holy trinity, Joji, Rich Brian, and Niki, set to headline the event alongside Saweetie and CL.
Further performances from Keshi, Japanese Breakfast, Guapdad 4000, and up-and-coming artist Warren Hue are also expected. The full line-up is pictured below:
Apart from the exciting roster of artists, the festival will also be catered by 626 Night Market, the largest Asian-inspired food market in the United States. Promising a lively weekend all throughout.
88rising has continuously broken down the boundaries between the American and Asian music markets. With Miyashiro describing the company as “The Disney of Asian hip-hop.” Having collaborated with a diverse array of artists from K-pop’s Jackson Wang to electro-house’s Yaeji, 88rising is a beacon of cultural, and musical, crossovers.
As Asian pop culture continues to take the U.S. by storm, 88rising seamlessly introduces the hip-hop, underbelly of it all. Boasting a roster of artists worth keeping an eye out for, whether already established or up-and-coming.
