TM88 and Pi’erre Bourne Release Mind Bending Music Video for Song “OMS”
Back in 2021, TM88 and Pi’erre Bourne released their joint album Yo!88, and now on May 4, the unexpected dynamic duo has released a futuristic music video to the album’s opening song “OMS”.
When the album initially released, Billboard said “The album’s timing couldn’t be more perfect.”
The song alone has a Syfy-like, modernistic feel, built up by a TM88’s heavy trap base and spacey beats, but the visuals is what truly brings Bourne’s lyrical creation to life.

The video is completely animated, as if TM88 and Bourne have found themselves trapped in a psychedelic dystopia video game, pulsating with vibrant hues of purple, blue, pink and orange.
While immersed in their trippy state, TM88 is fleeing from the cops, while the city is still, encompassed by flames, but speedily trying to make it home to concoct more beats.
“It’s as if the video is saying, ‘When TM888 and Pi’erre Bourne link, everything is lit’,” said Kevin Young from Capitol Music Group.
TM88 is no stranger to the world of modern trap music though. He is a Grammy/NAACP nominated artist, who has produced multi-platinum hits such as XO Tour Llif3, Way 2 Sexy and two tracks off of Future’s most recent album “I Never Liked You”.
Bourne has also had his fair share of time in the limelight after making his mark by producing countless well-known singles for Playboy Carti, such as “Magnolia”. He also spent time working closely with Lil Uzi Vert on “Eternal Atake”, Kanye West on “Jesus Is King” and even produced two solo projects, “The Life of Pi’erre 4” and “The Life of Pi’erre 5”.
Yo!88 was one of 2021’s most boundary-breaking rap releases, and this music video for “OMS” serves as a reminder to look back at the album. To watch the music video for “OMS”, click here.
