Chrome Sparks’ “Sleeper” Previews Album ‘Ball Of Light’
With the orchestral highs of a lullaby,Jeremy Malvin, also known as Chrome Sparks, released Sleeper, the first track off his album Ball Of Light, which he announced on July 31st. The single features R&B/Pop singer Khalid and frontman of Sigur Rós, Jónsi, with melodic, faded vocals pattered throughout.
Malvin has been making music for well over 15 years, collaborating with the likes of Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, and Lilly Allen, to name a few, behind the scenes. This will his third solo album under the name Chrome Sparks, following a self-titled release in 2018.
Malvin’s production signature is unique; though it might sound like sleeper mindful music, it holds its weight in atmosphere. Probably due to his use of synthesizers and melodic composition to create an almost dreamy procession-focused beat, and that makes it feels almost surreal compared to the unregulated pumps from distantly related EDM.
The set list is to include 12 tracks and is set to be released in September
