Bon Jovi to Host a Virtual Wine Tasting and Concert

Bon Jovi to Host a Virtual Wine Tasting and Concert

By Samantha Krevolin

Jon Bon Jovi is one of the most well-known singers, songwriters, and rock stars. The “Livin’ on a Prayer” artist decided to take his talents to the food and beverage industry earlier this year. He and his son, Jesse Bongiovi, along with the help of winemaker Gerard Bertrand created their own rosé. Hampton Water rosé was created during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic to support those in need in his home state of New Jersey and Long Island. Bon Jovi is furthering his ability to give back to the community by launching a virtual concert and wine tasting event for Friday, August 14th.

The event will take place virtually through a live stream on the Hampton Water Facebook page at 7 pm ET on Friday. The virtual concert will also be available on iHeartRadio stations for those who do not have a Facebook. Additionally, there will be a virtual wine tasting of Hampton Water through LiveStream.com at 6:30 pm ET that evening. Fans planning on attending the concert are encouraged to submit questions to the Facebook page and grab their own bottle of Hampton Water to drink while the questions are answered by Bon Jovi himself.

For even more of an excuse to attend, a portion of the proceeds from the virtual event will be going towards Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen. World Central Kitchen, or WCK, is a non-profit organization that provides meals to those in need during times of crisis and disaster. All month, $1 from every purchase of Hampton Water rosé will be donated to WCK, which at this time is giving back towards COVID-19 relief and minority-owned businesses.

Bon Jovi is grateful to have been given this opportunity to give back to the community during this hard time, and he hopes that many fans attend the concert and purchase Hampton Water rosé. The free acoustic show will be live-streamed with Bon Jovi and his band, the Kings of Suburbia. Bon Jovi has been known to give back to the hungry in the past, and he is happy to extend his charity to struggling restaurants and those effected negatively by COVID-19. The music from his concert will allow the audience to reminisce about better times, drink wine, and sing along with friends and family.
